O2 Joggler

The o2 Joggler is a new addition by O2 released in May 2009. Available exclusively from O2 on the O2 network, this device is intended organise your family by becoming a central hub that shares information.  Call it an electronic version of your fridge door or notice board.

What makes the Joggler really great is that it’s a number of things rolled into one. The official Joggler information site can be found here.

It’s a media storage device which is able to play video, photo slide shows and music all from the same device, with the ability to share and upload media.  When not being used it can be set up to display your digital photo’s much like a traditional digital photo frame can.

By linking it to your homes router it is able to give you the latest news, traffic information and weather including in the future a plan to stream radio.  It also has a number of handy tools such as an alarm, a memo pad and a calculator.

Another benefit of the Joggler from O2 is it’s main function the shared calendar.  The online service from O2 which can be found at: http://o2family.o2.co.uk/o2calendar is available and your family events and important dates can be organised in one easy to access place.  This calendar can then be access both on the Joggler and online.  It will also send text message reminders to every family member so they will know who needs to be where and by when.

who actually makes this device?
for example the 3 skype phone is made by amoi, or the google phone is actually made by HTC.
